Camp Tonkawa Staff
The Holtzman Family were taught by the Tom Brown's Tracking, Nature and Wilderness Survival School and Jon Young's Wilderness Awareness School and also have other classes, achievements, and experiences under their belts. The Holtzman family then trained our staff. Additionally, staff get professional training in Leadership, Youth Development & Play, and Mental Health & Behavior through ExpertOnlineTraining.

Randy Scism / Grey Wolf
Randy has left his mark on just about everything here at Camp, including Native American camps, assisting at Survival Camps, leading woodworking, and cooking. Although he has gone on (see A Page for Randy/Grey Wolf), he will always be remembered at Camp Tonkawa.
River
River teaches about reptiles and works with the Native American Indian Camp, Primitive Survival Camps, and Horsemanship camps.
Ryann
Ryann was a WWOOFER, but has now joined our staff. She never goes anywhere without her dog, Square.

Hannah
Hannah works with the horses for the camps and also loves to help with crafts.
Abbie
Abbie is the all-around helper for the camps. She’s a hard worker and a great example.
Noel
Noel teaches Survival Skills. He likes to work our Summer Camp and is great at leading fun games.

Gabrielle
Gabrielle has participated in each of our different camps, and now she helps out with everything. She’s our GOLD Girl Scout, who did her Gold Project with us.
Claudia is a Nature Awareness Day Camp instructor.
Carol
Carol is the instructor for all our Survival classes, backpacking, and herbology.
