Class Descriptions

Come play "Cowboys and Indians" with us, Camp Tonkawa style!  This is a fun camp, themed around the early history of our country, when a connection to nature as a way of life.

Since both Cowboys and Indians rode horses, this camp will offer basic horsemanship:  grooming, feeding, tack and riding time.  

Camp will also include archery, canoeing and kayaking, swimming, nature activities, outdoor cooking, crafts and a Native American pow wow. Campers will be sleeping in authentic Indian Tipis, bring your own sleeping bags and mats.

Meals will include Cowboy Dutch Oven Cooking and Indian Tacos.  We can work with food allergies, just let us know.  Three meals and a snack served for full days, with an emphasis on food kids like but served with a healthy perspective.   

NOTE : Camp is limited to 12 campers, so register early to reserve your child’s camp experience. Tell your cousins and friends to join you!
