If you love horses, then this is the camp for you! For four days, you will be able to indulge yourself in our four-legged friends, leading, grooming, riding and riding and riding. Proper posture, cueing, and gaits will be worked on. Obstacle courses will be used to make it fun and interesting, and also to measure your progress. Then, lots of trail rides!

This is for those who have had some experience with horses and are not afraid of them. It's time to pretend that you have a horse of your own for a little while. Dutch Oven Cooking, lunch rides, and all meals are included. 

• Arrive by 4 P.M. on the first day. Parents and family members are encouraged to arrive on the last day by 7 P.M. to watch your camper in a horse presentation. Departure time is roughly 8 P.M.

• There is an option to bring your own horse! 

• Outdoor solar showers will be available.

Bring your own tent, bed roll and boots and be ready to ride. If you don't have a tent of your own, you can sleep with others in one of ours. Camel packs are a great way to carry water on a horse, or non-breakable refillable water bottles. Full packing lists will be sent upon registration.

What not to bring?  Snacks will attract ants and other critters into your tent.

NOTE : Sessions fill quickly so register early!  Camp is always more fun with friends, so invite your friends to register with you! In the event the session registration minimum is not met, we regret to say that we will have to cancel the session.
