Class Description

Learn the magic of Fire Making. This class is about teaching every step to be successful at making fire. The highlight is a Fire By Friction method, teaching the Bow Drill Technique, that produces an ember that you use to light your fire. Step by step we teach you how to construct and then use your Bow Drill kit. The kit that you make will be yours to take home, but more importantly, you will gain the knowledge to do it yourself again.

You will need to bring your own sharpened knife that is a comfortable size for you to work with. The survival size of 5" fixed blades are all inclusive. We do offer some for sale, so contact us if you are interested and we can give you details. In addition, a pocket knife can be helpful but not necessary.
